SHS SAPPHIRE Series Wall Mount Short Back Plate Hinge is made of Solid Brass with all moving parts: pins and springs. It is Self-centering door hinge with the mechanism that functions when the shower door is in the range of 15 degrees of the closed position. SHS SAPPHIRE Series Wall Mount Full Back Plate Hinge are designed for use with 3/8” – 1/2” Tempered Safety Glass. These Hinges are great solution for heavy and wide doors, they are heavy-duty and durable, therefore it has 3-year warranty. These hinges have 2 steel pins inside. If those pins are left in place, then traditional mouse-ears cut-out takes place. In order to fit rectangular cut-outs, the pins inside the hinge should be removed. SHS SAPPHIRE Hinges are used for bigger, heavier doors because they provide more support. There are two steel pins inside the hinge that can be removed, but for the safety of “mouse-ears” type cut-outs, the pins should be in place. Different finishes are available to create desired look for your bathroom.
